Melania Trump “leads her own life” amid White House absence

Since Inauguration Day, Melania Trump has largely stayed out of the spotlight, with a few exceptions, such as her visit to Los Angeles during the wildfires. She clarified that her second term as First Lady will be different—she won’t live in Washington full-time, prioritizing her family, particularly their son Barron, who is attending college in New York. Melania’s focus is more on her personal projects and motherhood than traditional First Lady duties.

One of her major projects is a documentary about her life, which began filming in late 2024 and will be released in 2025. She explained that the documentary will showcase her day-to-day life, including the challenges of moving into the White House. Melania has also emphasized her independence, stating that while she supports her husband, she has her own opinions and doesn’t always agree with him.

In addition to her documentary, Melania is focused on expanding her Be Best campaign, which aims to help children fight bullying, and she is rumored to be encouraging her husband to adopt a healthier diet. Melania has kept a low profile but is slowly returning to public events, including the Governors Ball.
