Trump Shares Parenting Advice He Gave Barron — And It’s Surprisingly Practical

President Donald Trump, father of five, recently shared his “four golden rules” of parenting in a podcast interview with Miranda Devine. He emphasized: no drugs, no alcohol, no cigarettes, and if possible, no tattoos. Trump explained he has repeated these rules to his children throughout their lives.

His advice is influenced by his late brother Fred Trump Jr., who struggled with alcoholism and died of a heart attack at 42. Trump recalled telling Fred to never drink or smoke.

Among his children—Donald Jr., Ivanka, Eric, Tiffany, and Barron—some have consumed alcohol, but none are heavy drinkers. Tiffany has toned down partying after becoming a mother, Eric drinks minimally, and Donald Jr. stopped drinking a few years ago. Barron is still under 21 and not known to drink.
