14-Year-Old Motocross Rider Camden Trail Tragically Dies in Accident
A routine motocross practice turned tragic when 14-year-old Camden Trail from Bassett, Virginia, died on June 7, 2025, after a midair collision at East Bend Motorsports in North Carolina. The track confirmed it was a tragic accident with no fault on either rider. Despite quick medical response, Camden could not be saved.

Camden, described as fearless, joyful, and kind-hearted, loved motorsports, mountain biking, jet-skiing, and even ran a small lawn care business. Born in 2011, he was deeply loved by his family and community.

His funeral was held on June 10, and East Bend Motorsports launched a GoFundMe to support the family and honor his memory. Plans include a commemorative plaque at the track and the first annual “Cam” Memorial Shoot-Out Race set for June 6, 2026.

Though his life was short, Camden left a lasting impact on all who knew him. His legacy will live on through community support, memorial events, and shared memories.
