Prince Louis is ‘likely asking questions’ about Prince Harry

Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are growing up quickly. While George is preparing for his future as king, William and Kate are focused on ensuring all their children enjoy a normal childhood. Across the Atlantic, their cousins Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are also growing up, though far from the royal spotlight.

Sadly, reports suggest that George, Charlotte, and Louis have lost contact with their uncle, Prince Harry. George and Charlotte once had a close bond with him, but since Harry left royal life, communication has faded. Harry himself expressed in his book Spare that he felt shut out by William and Kate, despite wanting to be involved in their children’s lives.

Harry still cares deeply about his niece and nephews. He even gave Prince Louis a rare first edition of Winnie the Pooh as a christening gift, inspired by Princess Diana’s love of books. Yet, he’s also voiced concern that Charlotte or Louis could become “spares,” much like he felt growing up.

Royal experts believe William and Kate are aware of these risks and are raising their children differently. They aim to make Charlotte and Louis feel equally valued and may encourage them to explore careers outside of royal duties. Experts suggest they may pursue paths in the military, charity work, or other fields they find meaningful, while still upholding royal values of empathy and service.

Parenting experts also say William and Kate focus on nurturing strong sibling bonds, avoiding an “heir and spare” dynamic. Still, it’s believed George, Charlotte, and Louis are starting to ask questions about their uncle Harry and why he’s no longer part of their lives.
