Marysol Patton was raised in Miami by her Cuban mother, Elsa, and Irish father, Don, alongside her brother Thomas. Her father, a yacht builder, often took her on global trips. She grew up by the ocean or pool and later graduated from St. Thomas University in 1997, just like her RHOM best friend, Alexia Nepola (class of 1990).
Marysol owns the Patton Group, a PR and events firm thatâs worked with top brands like Gucci, Oscar de la Renta, and Harry Winston. She and Alexia co-host the podcast Ay Por Favor. The Patton family is known for their love of leopard print.
Mama Elsa, a fan-favorite on Real Housewives of Miami, had a fear of flying, but traveled to appear on Watch What Happens Live in 2011 thanks to Andy Cohenâs team. Sadly, Elsa passed away in May 2019. Marysol gave the eulogy and called her mom âan angel watching over us now.â
Marysol returned in RHOM Season 4 with her husband, Steve McNamara, whom she married in April 2021. She believes her late parents brought them together, calling Steve kind and the perfect match.
