A Double Board Certified Neurologist Thinks Joe Biden Could Be Experiencing Vascular Dementia
A prominent neurologist has addressed media reports suggesting that U.S. President Joe Biden may have Parkinson’s disease, instead raising the possibility of “vascular dementia.” He emphasized the need for Biden to undergo neurological testing, including an MRI, to confirm or rule out this condition.
The neurologist noted that Biden’s medical history, including atrial fibrillation and two brain aneurysms, could contribute to the risk of vascular dementia. He also dismissed Parkinson’s disease as a diagnosis, pointing out that Biden does not show key symptoms like shuffling gait, resting tremors, or cogwheel rigidity.
Dr. Russell Surasky suggested a comprehensive neurological evaluation for Biden, which would assess motor skills and memory, with an MRI being crucial for diagnosing vascular dementia.
