The interview, which had technical delays and started 42 minutes late, attracted over a million listeners. Trump discussed his July assassination attempt and accused Democrats of orchestrating a “coup” to replace Biden with Kamala Harris. He criticized Harris for moving to the center on issues like immigration.
Trump also called out “bad people” in the U.S. government, saying they were more dangerous than foreign leaders. Musk complimented Trump and tried steering the conversation toward centrist topics like immigration and government spending. Trump exaggerated U.S. agricultural export issues and overstated American assistance to Ukraine. He also criticized the EU, claiming a large trade deficit.
